Abstract:
A fully automatic Terahertz atmosphere characteristic measurement system and a calibration method therefor. The system comprises a calibration signal source, a calibration device (1), a Terahertz spectrometer (2) and a system control device (3), wherein the calibration signal source is a dual-temperature calibration signal source based on a natural ambient temperature, i.e. a passive working mode, the passive working mode effectively simplifying the calibration device (1) and improving system calibration precision, thereby ensuring that the system can operate continuously in an unattended manner for a long period; the Terahertz spectrometer (2) is a dual-frequency band overlapping ultra-wide band MPI-type Terahertz Fourier spectrometer, and is of a two-port input and two-port output form; a blackbody calibration signal source or an atmosphere radiation signal source and a built-in reference blackbody signal source are input to form interference fringes under the action of an interferometer, and then, the interference fringes are output to two detectors, the detection frequency band ranges thereof being different but overlapping at a low frequency band; the two detectors respectively and separately receive and output interference fringe electrical signals; and correction, accumulation and averaging processing are carried out on same in a frequency domain, thereby improving the signal-to-noise ratio of observation calibration data in the overlapping frequency band.
