Abstract:
Disclosed is a functional artificial feed for silkworms and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: adding powder to water containing nano-titanium dioxide; and steaming to obtain the functional artificial feed for silkworms. The powder comprises mulberry leaf powder, defatted soybean flour, starch, sucrose, citric acid, agar powder, inorganic salts, and vitamins. The invention also relates to a method for increasing the yield and disease resistance of silkworm cocoons by means of using the artificial feed, an application of nano-titanium dioxide for increasing the yield and disease resistance of silkworm cocoons or an application of preparing the artificial feed. The nano-titanium dioxide has a particle size ranging from 10-40 nm, and is added in an amount of 5-15 mg/kg.
