Abstract:

In order to provide a functional component attachment base which has high durability to the inertial force acting on the functional component when the tire contacts the ground and when the tire leaves the ground and to the collision force acting on the functional component attachment base during passage over a protrusion, this functional component attachment base (1) is formed from a rubber material, is attached to the inner surface (70) of a tire to allow attachment of a functional component (29) to the inner surface (70) of the tire, and is characterized by being provided with a fitting recess (2) for fitting a functional component-side attachment unit (3) provided on the functional component (29). The opening diameter of an opening (3) into the fitting recess (2) is formed to have a smaller dimension than the maximum diameter of the functional component-side attachment unit, the inner surface of the fitting recess (2) (the inner circumferential wall (9)) is formed as a fitting surface that fits with the outer surface of the functional component-side attachment unit (the outer peripheral surface (31)), and the bottom of the fitting recess (2) is formed as an uneven portion (semicircular protrusions (5, 6) and a partition recess (8)) which fits into an uneven portion (semicircular recesses (34, 35) and a partition protrusion (33)) formed on the functional component-side attachment unit (30).
