This game program causes a processor to execute: a step for setting a first time for sounding a first alarm for waking up a user; a step for setting a time after the first time at which to sound a second alarm that sounds in response to the sounding of the first alarm; a step for sounding the set first alarm in response to the arrival of the first time; a step for starting first game processing of a first game such that user operation is possible; and a step for, in response to receiving a prescribed user operation in relation to the first game processing by the arrival of the time for the sounding of the second alarm, cancelling the sounding of the second alarm and applying an effect that makes it easier to advance in the first game than when the prescribed operation is not received by the arrival of the time for sounding the second alarm.
