Abstract:
A garden power tool and a control method therefor. The garden power tool comprises a detection unit (18) and a control unit; the detection unit (18) is configured to obtain target data; the target data is used for representing working state characteristics of an air pipe (16) under a working mode; the control unit is connected to the detection unit (18) and a motor; the control unit is configured to determine that the garden power tool in the working mode is expected to be in a working state or dormant state according to the target data, so as to control a rotation speed of the motor to match the working state or the dormant state according to the determining result. A user does not need to change an operating habit, and the rotation speed of the motor can be adjusted by moving the garden power tool to enable the air pipe to lift up or fall down, thereby saving the electric quantity used by a direct-current blowing and suction machine in the non-suction process, and realizing the energy-saving effect.
