Abstract:
According to the present invention, a gas meter (10) has a normal measurement mode in which the flow rate is measured in a predetermined sampling cycle, and a detailed measurement mode in which the flow rate is measured in a sampling cycle shorter than the normal measurement mode. Furthermore, a center device (40) instructs the gas meter (10) to perform measurement in the detailed measurement mode. Furthermore, flow rate data measured in the detailed measurement mode is collected from the gas meter (10), and failure diagnosis information for diagnosing the failure of a gas appliance is generated on the basis of the collected flow rate data. This configuration makes it possible to remotely specify the faulty part of the gas appliance, thereby speeding up the repair response.
