Abstract:

A cooling steam system in a gas turbine for a combined cycle power plant where steam for cooling is generated in a waste heat recovery steam boiler into which exhaust gas of the gas turbine is introduced and stationary blades are cooled by the cooling steam is so constructed that a cooling steam supply pipe (55) from the waste heat recovery steam boiler communicates with a cooling passage (46) formed in a first-stage stationary blade (39), a cooling steam recovery pipe (37) communicating with a steam turbine communicates with a cooling passage (49) formed in a second-stage stationary blade (41), and a connecting pipe (47) for the cooling steam having a relatively large sectional area and connecting the cooling passages (46 and 49) in the first-stage and second-stage stationary blades (39 and 41) to each other.
