The invention relates to a hot water supply apparatus, in particular a gas water heating apparatus. The gas water heating apparatus comprises a gas water heater with a combustor shell (4), and a flue assembly, wherein the combustor shell (4) is provided with a combustor air inlet (4a) and a combustor exhaust outlet (4b) located within the opening range of the combustor air inlet; the combustor air inlet (4a) and the combustor exhaust outlet (4b) are connected to the flue assembly in a sealed manner so as to receive combustion air and discharge flue gas; a flow-limiting member is arranged between the flue assembly and the combustor shell (4); and the flow-limiting member is at least partially located in an air intake channel between the combustor air inlet (4a) and the combustor exhaust outlet (4b), such that the air intake through-flow sectional area can be reduced. In addition, the invention further relates to the flow-limiting member for the gas water heating apparatus. In the invention, the air intake through-flow sectional area is adjusted by means of the flow-limiting member, the fuel-to-air ratio is improved, such that fuel gas can be fully combusted and flue gas emission is safe.
