Abstract:
Provided are: a furnace wall of a simple structure that is highly durable even in environments where the atmosphere or temperature is different between the inside and the outside of the wall surface; as well as a gasification device including the same and a method for producing the furnace wall. In the gasification device, a gasification furnace wall is constituted of a plurality of pipes through the interior of which a cooling medium flows, which are produced using a first material, and which are disposed in parallel. At least a part of the gasification furnace wall comprises: an outer peripheral section that is layered around each of the plurality of pipes and is produced using a second material more resistant to corrosion than the pipes; a plate disposed between the outer peripheral section and an adjacent outer peripheral section; and a welded section coupling the outer peripheral section and the plate. The outer peripheral section and the plate constitute a wall surface separating an interior space from an exterior space, and the outer peripheral section covers the entirety of the peripheral direction of the plurality of pipes.
