Abstract:
This gear (100) production method comprises: a support part forming step of disposing a gear part (10) and a core part (30) in a circular mold (60), and filling a fiber-reinforced resin in the space between the gear part (10) and the core part (30), to form a support part (20); and a support part cooling process of cooling the support part (20) formed in the support part forming step. The gap (A) in the radial direction between the mold (60) and wheel teeth (11) of the gear part (10) prior to the support part forming step is set to be smaller than the shrinking amount (B) in the radial direction of the support part (20) in the support part cooling step.
