Abstract:
A gemstone color improvement method, comprising the following steps: first, forming a colloid having a color on a gemstone; and then irradiating the gemstone coated by the colloid using ultraviolet light; and repeating the operations to obtain a gemstone having the color improved. The improvement method does not need firing, is simple in process, is low in production costs, and can be widely applied to different gemstones that need to improve the color.
