Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of civil engineering, and relates to a geogrid prepared from a recycled and treated medical waste, a preparation method therefor and an application thereof in foundation reinforcement. The preparation method comprises: recycling a part of medical waste, treating and then processing same into crushed materials, adding a modified filler and a processing assistant, selecting high-strength fiber bundles to be compounded and molten with the mixture, pressing, and stretching to prepare a geogrid. The part of the medical waste is one or any combination of multiple used medical plastic products and expired and unused medical plastic products. The high-strength fiber bundles are more than one bundle of fiber materials which are commercially available for manufacturing geogrids. The modified filler is a stabilizer for improving the stability of the components to heat and light. The processing assistant is a reinforcing agent for improving the performance of the components. The present invention innovatively solves the problem that it is difficult to treat the part of the medical waste, and creates more economic benefits and social benefits while reducing the waste pollution and protecting the environment.
