Abstract:
A gesture-based lighting control device according to the present invention comprises: a first infrared LED provided on the ceiling thereof so to emit first infrared light downward; a second infrared LED provided, on the ceiling thereof, to be distanced from the first infrared LED, so as to emit second infrared light downward; a light-receiving sensor provided at the middle point between the first infrared LED and the second infrared LED, which are on the ceiling, so as detect reflected light, which is obtained by reflecting first infrared light and the second infrared light to a reflector therebelow and returning same; a gesture determination unit for determining the gesture type of the reflector from the reflected light detected by the light-receiving sensor; and a lighting control unit for controlling the illuminance or color temperature of an LED lighting device according to the gesture type, wherein the first infrared LED and the second infrared LED are provided to be distanced at least a predetermined distance so that the distance from the light-receiving sensor to a point at which crosstalk between the first infrared light and the second infrared light occurs is greater than a predetermined effective sensing distance.
