Abstract:
In a transport step in this method, a glass film G is transported by moving a sheet material 17 for transporting that comes in contact with a lower surface of the glass film G. The sheet material 17 for transporting has: a first contact section 17a that comes in contact with the lower surface of the glass film G, on the upstream side of a production-related processing step; a second contact section 17b that comes in contact with the lower surface of the glass film G on the downstream side of the production-related processing step; and a non-contact section 17c that does not come in contact with the lower surface of the glass film G. In this method, the production-related processing step performs a prescribed treatment on the glass film G at a position that corresponds to the non-contact section 17c and is between the first contact section 17a and the second contact section 17b, while the transport step simultaneously moves the first contact section 17a, the second contact section 17b, and the non-contact section 17c of the sheet material 17 for transporting.
