Abstract:
Provided is a glass roving cloth which is provided with excellent weaving performance and excellent resin impregnability, and from which it is possible to realize a glass-fiber-reinforced resin sheet that is provided with high mechanical strength and excellent shaping properties. This glass roving cloth has, as the warp thereof, glass roving in which glass filaments provided with a filament diameter Dt of 9.5-30.0 µm are bundled at a filament count Ft of 400-8000, and has, as the weft thereof, glass roving in which glass filaments provided with a filament diameter Dy of 9.5-30.0 µm are bundled at a filament count Ft of 400-8000, the weave density of the warp and the weft is in the range of 2.0-14.0/25 mm, the warp average yarn width and the weft average yarn width are in the range of 500-8000 µm, the warp widening rate and the weft widening rate are in the range of 3.0-30.0%, the glass occupancy in the warp direction is in the range of 90.0-106.0%, and the glass occupancy in the weft direction is in the range of 75.0-99.0%.
