Abstract:
The present invention relates to a golf club grip used by wetting with moisture and a method for manufacturing the same. The golf club grip is manufactured by processing a raw leather used for manufacturing a grip having excellent adhesion to the hands through the method comprising the steps of: soaking a raw hide leather in salt; removing contaminants and proteins from the salted raw hide leather by using a chemical agent; cutting the raw hide leather to a predetermined thickness and milling same with a predetermined strength, and base dyeing the raw hide leather; and performing a special treatment including a heat treatment process and a drying process, such that the raw hide leather is vacuum treated so as to prevent a base dye dyed in the raw hide leather from being decolorized and discolored and allow the raw hide leather to easily absorb moisture, then performing a conditioning process on the raw hide leather by spraying moisture or the like, and then repeating a stretching and expanding process several times, in which the raw hide leather is pulled and released while being heat-treated again. Accordingly, when a golf club, having the golf club grip manufactured by using the raw leather completed through the above-described manufacturing process as a raw material, is used, the degree of adhesion to the hands when a player holds the golf club grip may be enhanced to enable the player to swing accurately and stably and properly experience the feeling of hitting.
