Abstract:
The invention provides a golf club protection device (10) for inhibiting damage to a golf club (14) in a golf bag during transportation or storage thereof. The device (10) includes a gold umbrella (12) which is receivable in a golf bag. The device (10) further includes an extension means (14) whereby the effective length of the umbrella (12) is extendible to a length which is at leas equal to the length of the golf club (54) which is to be protected. The device (10) further includes tie elements (56) whereby the device (10) is releasably securable to the golf club (54).
