Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus using low-pressure superheated vapor for granularizing a carbonization byproduct generated from a medium- and low-level radioactive waste carbonizing system in granule-molding equipment, and then solidifying same in solidifying equipment, and comprises: the granule-molding equipment comprising a mixer for mixing and combining the carbonization byproduct generated from the medium- and low-level radioactive waste carbonizing system with a binder, a transporter for transporting mixed waste mixed in the mixer through an embedded screw, and a pellet machine for cutting, with a rotating cutter, the mixed waste that is injected through an injection port from the transporter while the mixed waste is discharged through a pellet-molding porous plate by means of rotation of a rotating roller; and the solidifying equipment comprising a polymer supply pump for pumping polymers from a polymer tank and supplying same to a polymer supply pipe, a hardening agent supply pump for pumping a hardening agent from a hardening agent tank and supplying same to a hardening agent supply pipe, a fill head assembly fixed on top of a fill head frame and connected to the polymer supply pipe and the hardening agent supply pipe, a drum fixed to the inside of the fill head frame and to the upper end of which the fill head assembly is coupled, the drum filled with pellets molded from the granule-molding equipment, and a vacuum pump installed on top of a supply skid frame and connected to the fill head assembly via a vacuum pipe.
