Abstract:
The present invention provides a greenhouse gas emission reduction device for a ship, comprising: a seawater supply unit (110) for supplying seawater; an ammonia water production unit (120) for reacting NH3 with fresh water to produce and supply ammonia water; an absorption tower (130) including a CO2 removal unit (133) for reacting an exhaust gas discharged from a ship engine (10) with seawater supplied from the seawater supply unit (110) to cool same and reacting ammonia water from the ammonia water production unit (120) with the cooled exhaust gas to convert CO2 into NH4HCO3(aq) so as to remove the CO2; and an ammonia reproduction unit (140) for reacting the NH4HCO3(aq) discharged from the absorption tower (130) with Ca(OH)2 or Mg(OH)2 to reproduce NH3(g), thereby returning and supplying same to the ammonia water production unit (120). Therefore, NOX, SOX, and CO2 are separately discharged from an exhaust gas to satisfy the IMO greenhouse gas emission regulations, CO2 is removed after SOX is removed, thereby increasing removal efficiency of CO2, and during reproduction of NH3, a side reaction caused by remaining SOX is eliminated to prevent impurities from being contained therein when ammonia is recovered.
