Abstract:
Provided is a guide deviation detection device for elevators which allows an improvement in the accuracy of detecting deviations from the state in which an elevating body is correctly guided in the direction of vertical movement. This guide deviation detection device for elevators comprises: a base that is disposed on an elevating body that is vertically moved while guided; a contactor that is disposed on the base so as to be adjacent to a long object disposed so that the longitudinal direction thereof coincides with the direction of vertical movement of the elevating body, and that, when the elevating body is correctly guided in the direction of vertical movement, assumes a reference orientation with respect to the base by not contacting the long object, and when the elevating body deviates from the state in which the elevating body is correctly guided in the direction of vertical movement, changes the orientation with respect to the base from the reference orientation by contacting the long object; and a detection unit that is disposed on the elevating body and detects that the contactor has changed the orientation from the reference orientation.
