Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a hot dipped Al-Zn-Si-Mg-Sr coated steel sheet which stably exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, while having good surface appearance. In order to achieve the above-described purpose, the present invention provides a hot dipped Al-Zn-Si-Mg-Sr coated steel sheet which has a coating film and is characterized in that: the coating film has a composition that contains from 45% by mass to 65% by mass of Al, from 1.0% by mass to 4.0% by mass of Si, from 1.0% by mass to 10.0% by mass of Mg and from 0.01% by mass to 1.0% by mass of Sr, with the balance being made up of Zn and unavoidable impurities; and the diffraction intensities of Si and Mg2Si in the coating film as determined by an X-ray diffraction method satisfy the relational expression (1) below.
