Abstract:
A hair iron comprising an ion generator (20) that generates ions comprises a slotted nozzle (22, 122) in communication with the ion generator (20) for generating an ion curtain projecting from at least one side of a body (10, 11) of the hair iron, alongside and substantially parallel to a longitudinal edge of the heating element (15, 16, 17, 18, 115, 116, 117, 118) that contacts the hair (31) in use.
