Abstract:
Provided is a hair iron with which it is possible to arrange a hairstyle in a superior manner without damaging the hair. The present invention comprises an arm part (13A, 13B) that extends from a proximal-end part 12. The arm part (13A, 13B) has a plate (40) that is long in the extension direction, and an elastic member (41) that supports the reverse side of the plate (40). The elastic member (41) has non-linear elasticity so as to compress more readily when a load applied from the obverse side toward the reverse side of the plate (40) is low than when said load is high.
