Abstract:
Disclosed are a halogen-free inorganic flame-retardant material, a preparation method therefor and the use thereof, belonging to the field of inorganic liquid phase flame-retardant technology. The halogen-free inorganic flame-retardant material is prepared by mixing raw materials comprising the following components: an aqueous aluminum sulfate solution, a saturated aqueous iron sulfate solution and an aqueous sodium metasilicate solution at a volume ratio of 2.5 : 2.5 : 1 to 2 : 3 : 1, wherein the molar concentrations of the aqueous sodium metasilicate solution and the aqueous aluminum sulfate solution are independently 0.09-0.11 mol/L; and the saturated aqueous iron sulfate solution is a saturated aqueous solution at 15-17ºC. After the halogen-free inorganic flame-retardant material is applied to the surface of a combustible, various solute components in the raw materials can undergo a decomposition reaction at a high temperature to prevent further combustion of the combustible; and in addition, the various solute components in the raw materials absorb heat during the decomposition process to reduce the surface temperature of the combustible and have a flame retardant effect. Moreover, the remaining attachments after flame retardation are easily recovered and have almost no negative effect on the environment.
