Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a hammer test unit that can be reliably and safely positioned in places where testing is difficult such as a concrete bridge or dam, strikes the testing target while moving across the surface of the testing target, and detects abnormalities in and damage to the testing target by analyzing the reflected sound. [Solution] A hammer test unit that detects abnormalities in and damage to a testing target, and comprises a unit body for generating a hammering sound by striking the testing target, and receiving reflected waves of the hammering sound, a suspension means that suspends the unit body so as to be capable of moving on the testing target, and an analysis means that is positioned on the suspension means or is positioned externally, wherein the suspension means comprises: a suspension base part provided so as to be capable of moving horizontally on a horizontal surface of the testing target in order to hang the hammer test unit vertically; a vertically positioned rail provided such that the unit body, which is vertically suspended so as to hang down from the suspension base part on the front-surface side of the testing target, is capable of moving vertically; and a fall prevention member vertically provided (vertically suspended) so as to hang down from the suspension base part on the rear-surface side of the testing target, in order to prevent the suspension means from falling from the testing target.
