Abstract:
A hand washing supporting device according to an embodiment is a hand washing supporting device provided with a processor, wherein the processor is configured to execute: detection processing which detects motions of the hands of a user; determination processing which determines the start of hand washing by the user, when the motions of the user's hands are detected over a certain time by the detection processing; and notification processing which notifies the user of the difference between the certain time and a necessary time taken from the start to the end of the hand washing by the user, when it is determined by the determination processing that the hand washing has started.
