Abstract:
Provided is a handrail that is for an elevator car and that can suppress deflection of a grip member when load is applied to the grip member. This handrail for an elevator car is provided with: a grip member disposed along a surface of a wall panel of the elevator car with a gap between the grip member and the surface of the wall panel; a plurality of brackets arranged along the surface of the wall panel between the wall panel and the grip member; and a reinforcement member which has a higher rigidity than the grip member, which is embedded in the grip member along a longitudinal direction of the grip member, and in which a plurality of first fastening bodies penetrating through the wall panel and the plurality of brackets from the rear surface side of the wall panel are screwed.
