Abstract:
Provided are: a hard surface treatment agent composition which is improved in adherability and wettability/spreadability when sprayed with a spray onto a hard surface and has satisfactory discharge performance with a spray and satisfactory compounding stability; and a method for improving wettability of a hard surface using the hard surface treatment agent composition. A hard surface treatment agent composition comprises (a) a compound which has a hydrocarbon group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms inclusive and also having an HLB value of 2.5 to 9 inclusive as measured by the Griffin method [wherein the component is referred to as component (a), hereinafter], (b) a surfactant (provided that the component (a) is excluded) [wherein the component is referred to as component (b), hereinafter] in an amount of 0.1 to 10% by mass inclusive, (c) a water-soluble organic solvent [wherein the component is referred to as component (c), hereinafter], and water, in which the ratio of the mass-based content of the component (a) to that of the component (b), i.e., (a)/(b), is 0.05 to 0.43 inclusive, the ratio of the mass-based content of the component (a) to that of the component (c), i.e., (a)/(c), is 0.1 to 1.4, inclusive, and the viscosity at 20°C is less than 50 mPa•s.
