Abstract:
Provided is a hard-tip band saw blade in which it is possible to sufficiently reduce manufacturing costs while improving durability. In this hard-tip band saw blade 10, left-side corner parts of hard tips 16T (20T, 26T) of right offset teeth 16 (20, 26) and right-side corner parts of hard tips 18T (24T, 28T) of left offset teeth 18 (24, 28) are formed into flange parts B that protrude in the cutting direction with respect to the tooth tip edges of straight teeth 14 (22). Tooth tip chamfers C are formed along the tooth tip edges of the the tooth tips of hard tips 14T (22T) of the straight teeth 14 (22), the tooth tips of the hard tips 16T (20T, 26T) of the right offset teeth 16 (20, 26), and the tooth tips of the hard tips 18T (24T, 28T) of the left offset teeth 18 (24, 28). The proportion of offset teeth in a saw tooth group 12 is set to 71-83%.
