Abstract:
This invention provides a head-up display (HUD) device with which stray light can be suppressed with a simple configuration. This HUD device emits display light representing an image toward a transparent member such as the front windshield of a vehicle, thereby displaying the image as a virtual image. The HUD device is equipped with a display unit (10) for generating display light, a concave mirror unit, and a case (70) that accommodates the concave mirror unit on the front side. The concave mirror unit has a concave mirror for reflecting the display light generated by the display unit (10) toward the transparent member, and a support part for rotatably holding the concave mirror. The case (70) has through-holes (O1 – O5) at positions covered from the front side by the support part. The support part is secured to the case (70) by screws inserted into the through-holes (O1 – O5) from the back side of the case (70).
