Abstract:
The present invention improves the convenience of a headlight device that switches an illumination area without operation by a passenger of the tilting vehicle. A control device controls the irradiation of light by a headlight such that, when the tilting vehicle is turning left, the brightness of at least an upper left illumination area is maintained when an approaching vehicle and/or a preceding vehicle are present inside the upper left illumination area, compared to when an approaching vehicle or a preceding vehicle are not present inside the upper left illumination area. A control device controls the irradiation of light by a headlight such that, when the tilting vehicle is turning right, the brightness of at least an upper right illumination area is maintained when an approaching vehicle and/or a preceding vehicle are present inside the upper right illumination area, compared to when an approaching vehicle or a preceding vehicle are not present inside the upper right illumination area.
