Abstract:
A heat storage/release device (1) comprises a heat storage/release body (2) and a heat storage/release control unit (10). The heat storage/release body (2) is a heat-storing and heat-releasing titanium oxide that has the property of storing heat with the phase transition from the β phase to the λ phase and releasing heat with the phase transition from the λ phase to the β phase. The heat storage/release control unit (10) has a resistance detection unit (3) that detects a value indicating the electrical resistance or the change in electrical resistance of the heat storage/release body (2), and a heat storage state estimation unit that estimates the heat storage state of the heat storage/release body (2) on the basis of the relationship between the detection value detected by the resistance detection unit (3) and the phase transition rate that represents the ratio of the λ phase in the heat-storing and heat-releasing titanium oxide. The heat storage/release control unit (10) controls the heat storage and release of the heat storage/release body (2) on the basis of the estimated heat storage state.
