Abstract:
Provided is a heat exchange pipe that has an excellent heat exchange performance and in which a metal porous body is inhibited from detaching from a metal pipe. The present invention is provided with a metal pipe and a metal porous body that is bonded to the inner wall surface of the metal pipe and that is obtained by joining a plurality of metal fibers. A part of the metal porous body is bonded to the inner wall surface of the metal pipe. When, in a cross-section of the metal porous body, the concavity/convexity degree is defined as the (cross-section peripheral length 2/area of cross-section) × 1/(4π) and the linearity is defined as the (cross-section maximum absolute length 2/area of cross-section) × π/4, and the concavity/convexity degree and the linearity are obtained for a vertical cross-section of the metal porous body and fineness, obtained by multiplying the concavity/convexity degree and the linearity, is calculated, the perpendicular fineness perpendicular to the wall surface of the vertical cross-section represented by the following relationship 1 is 1.9 or above. Relationship 1: (Vertical fineness) = (fineness) × cos (2α) α: tilt of metal fiber (note that α = 0 if 45° <α < 135°)
