Abstract:
This method for manufacturing a heat exchanger (1A) is a method for manufacturing a heat exchanger (1A) that comprises: a heat transfer tube (20); and a distributor (10) that has an outer shell wall (11) to which the heat transfer tube (20) is welded. The method for manufacturing the heat exchanger (1A) comprises: a thin part forming step of forming, in a partial region of the outer shell wall (11), a thin part (14A) of a smaller thickness than the outer diameter of the heat transfer tube (20); a through-hole forming step of forming, in the thin part (14A), a through-hole (13A) into which the heat transfer tube (20) can be inserted; and a welding step of welding the heat transfer tube (20) to the outer shell wall (11) by inserting the heat transfer tube (20) into the through-hole (13A) and packing a solder material (40) into the gap between the inserted heat transfer tube (20) and the inner wall of the through-hole (13A) and into the interior of the partial region where the thin part (14A) is formed.
