Abstract:
A heat exchanger (10) comprises a plurality of tubes (300), a first tank (100), and a second tank (200). The internal space of the first tank is divided into upper and lower parts by a separator (130). This heat exchanger is configured so as to satisfy Atank/Atube ≤ 0.00000378 × L1tank
2 − 0.00305 × L1tank + 0.78510, where: Atube is the sum of all cross-sectional areas of flow paths (FP) formed inside the tubes above the separator, in the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction thereof; Atank is the cross-sectional area of internal space (SP) formed inside the second tank, in the cross section perpendicular to the vertical direction; and L1tank is the length in millimeters of the portion of the second tank above the separator, along the vertical direction.
