Abstract:
This heat pipe (100) is provided with a pipe case (90), a porous wick (30) and sealing members (191, 192). Both ends (91, 92) of the pipe case (90) are sealed by means of the sealing members (191, 192). The sealing members (191, 192) are configured of a first metal foil (116) and an intermetallic compound phase (119). A working liquid is sealed within the pipe case (90). The porous wick (30) produces a capillary force for the working liquid by means of a plurality of pores (80). The porous wick (30) is provided within the pipe case (90). Consequently, the pipe case (90) and the porous wick (30) form a hollow space (95) that extends in the longitudinal direction of the pipe case (90). The porous wick (30) is configured of first metal particles (106), second metal particles (107) and an intermetallic compound phase (109).
