A heat pump system and an anti-dry-heating control method. A cold-medium heater (130) of the heat pump system (100) is connected in between a compressor (110) and an oil separator (120). The anti-dry heating control method comprises: starting the cold-medium heater (130) at a target power Pt, the heating duration of the cold-medium heater (130) being ti, and when ti ≥ t0, or Ti ≥ T0, the cold-medium heater (130) halting heating.
