Abstract:
This heat source unit is connectable to an existing pipe or to an existing use unit (50, 60) and constitutes a refrigerant circuit (6) that is filled with carbon dioxide as a refrigerant. The heat source unit is provided with: a pressure sensor (48) that detects the pressure of the refrigerant flowing out to the use unit (50, 60); one or more pressure reducing mechanisms (14, 18) that reduce the pressure of the refrigerant flowing out to the use unit (50, 60); and a control unit (100) that controls the one or more pressure reducing mechanisms (14, 18) so that the pressure detected by the pressure sensor (48) is lower than a first pressure.
