Abstract:
This height correction system has: a workbench on a first floor surface; a cart on a second floor surface; an articulated robot arm having an end effector and provided on the cart; a storage device for storing a correction table; and a controller. The correction table stores, in association with respective positions on the upper surface of the workbench, heights from the upper surface to the end effector directly above the respective positions, and stores reference heights from at least three predefined reference positions on the upper surface of the workbench to the end effector directly above the reference positions. The controller actuates an arm with a reference operation parameter to measure the height from each reference position to the end effector, and corrects the reference operation parameter to correct the height deviation on the basis of the amount of deviation between the height measured at each reference position and the reference height stored in the correction table.
