Provided is a high order harmonic suppression circuit for a railway circuit applicable to the technical field of railway vehicles. The high order harmonic suppression circuit for a railway circuit comprises a first capacitor, a second capacitor, a resistor, and a reactor. The first capacitor, the second capacitor and the reactor are sequentially connected in series to form a series-connected branch. An input end of the series-connected branch is connected to a contact line or a positive feeder of a traction power supply system. An output end of the series-connected branch is connected to a steel railway track. One end of the resistor is connected to a series connection point of the first capacitor and the second capacitor. The other end of the resistor is connected to the output end of the series-connected branch. In the high order harmonic suppression circuit of the present invention, the second capacitor is connected in series to the reactor then connected in parallel to the resistor, such that high order harmonics in a railway circuit can be effectively suppressed, thereby ensuring safe operation of a railway vehicle.
