Abstract:
A high-performance etherified bio-based resin, prepared by first using an amino resin and a hydroxyethyl cardanol ether as starting materials, and performing ether exchange under the action of a catalyst to obtain a high solid-content bio-based modified amino resin, and possibly further adding an amount of low-level monohydroxyl ether to prepare a mixed etherified amino resin with lower viscosity and better stability. The preparation method is simple, and has low cost, mild reaction conditions, and strong controllability. The synthesized bio-based mixed etherified amino resin has a high solid content, low viscosity, good biodegradability, stable product performance, and can be used as a chemical intermediate for application in the field of industrial coatings.
