Abstract:
A high-sensitivity air pressure sensor based on a suspended-core optical fiber and a side-hole optical fiber, comprising a broadband light source, an optical fiber circulator, a sensing head, and a spectrometer; the optical fiber circulator is connected to the broadband light source, the sensing head, and the spectrometer; the sensing head comprises a single-mode optical fiber, a multi-mode optical fiber, a suspended-core optical fiber, and a side-hole optical fiber; the single-mode optical fiber is connected to the suspended-core optical fiber by means of the multi-mode optical fiber; the multi-mode optical fiber is connected to the side-hole optical fiber by means of the suspended-core optical fiber. By means of optical fiber fusion, the sensor is easy to prepare; the sensor has a small volume and a compact structure and is convenient to use; no adhesive is required, and the sensor has good stability; a vernier effect can be achieved by means of parallel connection of two chambers, good interference spectrum contrast is provided, and high sensitivity is achieved.
