Abstract:
A high-speed turbine dental drill handpiece having zero backflow comprising a head cover, a head body (4), a drilling needle (5), a powered windmill (15), a windmill axle (13), a bearing (12), a vibration reduction device, a head body drilling needle (5), a front handle (1) and a rear handle (2). A one-way ball valve (10) and a centrifugal labyrinth mechanical seal backflow prevention device are respectively installed at one side of the head cover and one side of the head body drilling needle (5). The invention substantially ensures zero backflow when a dental handpiece is operating, can withstand multiple sterilization operations at a high temperature of 135 °C, and can prevent or minimize wear of a sealing member, thereby ensuring long time usage, and minimizing performance change.
