Abstract:
A high strength laminated non-woven fabric, characterized in that it comprises a thermoplastic synthetic filament layer having a fiber diameter of 7 to 20 μm as upper and lower layers and a thermoplastic synthetic fine fiber layer having a fiber diameter of 5 μm or less as an intermediate layer, and respective layers are integrated through pressing, wherein the fine fibers in the fiber layer enter into at least one face of the filament layer with an entrance index of 0.36 or more, and bind with, envelop or interlace with the filament to form a mixed structure, and wherein the laminated non-woven fabric exhibits a weight of 10 to 250 g/m2 and a bulk density of 0.20 g/cm3 or more. The above spun-bonded non-woven fabric exhibits various durable filter and barrier functions, and has a tensile strength markedly superior compared to a conventional spun-bonded non-woven fabric.
