Abstract:

A polymer film characterized in that a Poisson's ratio of a width direction (TD) to a lengthwise direction (MD) of the film is less than 0.4, the film being excellent in size stability under a high tensile force and providing a high-capacity magnetic recording medium which is not susceptible to a reading error at a reproduction time and is excellent in electromagnetic transducing characteristics.
