Abstract:
A hoist for an elevator is configured in such a manner that bushes (22, 32) having cylindrical sections (22a, 32a) are affixed to bearing bases (21, 31) affixed onto a base. Bearings (23, 33) are fitted to the inner peripheral surfaces of the cylindrical sections. A rotating shaft (11) which is rotatable relative to the bushes is fitted to the inner peripheral surfaces of the bearings. A rope sheave (8) is affixed to the rotating shaft. A motor for generating drive force for rotating the rotating shaft has: a rotor (41) affixed to the rotating shaft; and a stator (42) radially facing the rotor with a gap therebetween. Recesses (24, 37) are provided in the upper portions of the bearing bases. The bushes are affixed to the bearing bases while the cylindrical sections are fitted in the recesses.
