Abstract:
This hoist for elevators has: a hoist base; a hoist motor affixed to the hoist base; a sheave shaft connected to the output shaft of the hoist motor; a sheave attached to the sheave shaft; and a plurality of sheave-supporting devices for supporting the periphery of the sheave. Each of the plurality of sheave-supporting devices has a supporting roller, and the supporting rollers support the sheave by causing each roll surface thereof to abut against the periphery of the sheave. The load applied to the sheave is thus received in a distributed manner, enabling a reduction in the load applied to a hoist shaft and a supporting member thereof.
