Abstract:
Provided is a hole plug comprising: a flange portion which covers, at a prescribed angle of inclination, the peripheral edge surface of an attachment hole opening bored in an attachment member; and a cylindrical outer peripheral wall portion which extends downward from the inner peripheral edge of the flange portion. The hole plug further comprises a portion bending with the flange portion formed as a pivot point for bending, during insertion into the attachment hole, the upper-side outer peripheral wall portion from a prescribed position of the outer peripheral wall portion in a direction away from the edge of the hole as the tip of the flange portion makes contact with the peripheral edge surface of the opening in the attachment member. As such, the insertion load is reduced, changes in plate thickness are adapted to, and water tightness is maintained.
