Abstract:
A customer interface unit (55) acquires specific information for specifying a model of a failed appliance that has possibly failed. A search unit (53) searches a home electric appliance database (64) in which information relating to a plurality of home electric appliances is registered, for a first recommended appliance which is a home electric appliance recommended to be rented as a home electric appliance alternative to the failed appliance, and a second recommended appliance which is a home electric appliance with a lower degree of recommendation for rental than the first recommended appliance. The customer interface unit (55) causes a display device of a user terminal device used by a user of the failed appliance to display information indicating the first recommended appliance and information indicating the second recommended appliance.
