Abstract:
The present invention provides a hose connector having excellent water pressure resistance and operability. A hose connector 10 has a main body member 100, the entirety of which is an integral body, and into which a discharge pipe f3 of a faucet is to be inserted; a pressing member 200 which is rotatably attached to the main body member 100 and which applies to the discharge pipe f3 a pressing force that includes a discharge direction component; a rotation operation part 300 which can rotate the pressing member 200 in the loosening direction and the tightening direction; a first engagement part E1 which is fixed to or engaged with the main body member 100; and a second engagement part which engages with the first engagement part E1 and which rotates with the rotation operation part 300 and the pressing member 200. The pressing member 200 has a pressing contact surface M1 which comes into contact with the discharge pipe f3. The pressing contact surface M1 is formed such that the distance to the discharge pipe f3 changes with rotation of the pressing member 200. The reaction force to the pressing force is transmitted to the second engagement part and pushes the second engagement part against the first engagement part.
